Lamar HS - Women's Head Varsity Coach
Lamar Women's Lacrosse is currently accepting resumes for women and men interested in a Varsity head coaching position or an assistant coaching position. Lamar Women's Lacrosse is a club program that is a member of Houston Youth Lacrosse, and the South Campus Sports Complex is their home. Currently LWLAX fields a Varsity and Junior Varsity program. Last season the team placed second in the city, and advance to the state tournament. Interest in the program is growing, and the club hopes to add a J.V. II squad this year. LWLAX has a strong feeder system from both public and private middle schools in the Houston Area. An enthusiastic parent volunteer organization works with the coaches to help the club run smoothly. The program runs from September thru April of each year, with practices held in the evenings. Coaching stipends are paid in both the fall and the spring.
